TF2 was my main game for years but I discovered that learning fighting game characters (mainly in Guilty Gear Strive) gave me a similar amount of satisfaction to learning classes in TF2. I also really enjoy playing Noita for its secrets and wand building tech. All these games have really complex mechanics on the surface but after you do a little research you get a feel for the game

Its kind of funy how the nest pryoroty targets chanfe based on class, cause with demo, solider i always try to take out dispenser first cause then the enginner cant turtule the sentry and cant re build it in like 5 seconds after i destroy it.

I don’t understand the people who think spy is engineers counter just because he has 1 tool to destroy buildings. The sapper is just there to stop the engineer from directly countering spy, because without it, the sentry would directly counter the spy. It’s like another enemy player, but one who’s immune to backstab, with high damage and 360 degree vision, who immediately alerts the engineer when it’s damaged, and is always put behind the front lines where spy likes to hang out. If the spy didn’t have the sapper, he could get nothing done. And even with it, it’s the one thing he can’t just immediately kill and then leave, which also gives away his location to the engineer, which gives away his greatest advantage, surprise, and giving him plenty of time to fight back, along with his team, which usually hangs out around these nests. The engineer has so many advantages over a spy that spy needs a weapon made exclusively for the engineer just so it’s a fair fight.

Id say the detonator is a little more dangerous than you make it out to be. The pyro can make a spycheck well outside of the "danger zone." Also, trust me, any pyro that knows how to flare jump is just dying for an excuse to use it. Closing the distance to a spy that is out of the "danger zone" is absolutely one of those excuses

fun fact if you disguise as an enemy player in front of a Sentry they will still shoot at you until you go out of sight of the Sentry

What I haven't really seen is spy players actually spying. Imagine a team of 2-3 spies where only 1 or 2 (in the case of 3 spies) are killing while the remainder just sits with the C&D and tells their teammates over voice chat what the enemy compositions, setups, and directions are. "Yo, two pocketed demos coming down tunnels. Two engies with a nest right around the corner on main, and there's a trolldier up high."

I have the problem of those trickstabing spies that instantly decloack to keep the resistances and most importantly THE SPEED BOOST while uncloacked, letting them to stab easier. A simple change to instantly end the speed boost when uncloacking would be fairly positive for me. For the kunai, nerfing the minimal heath gain to +50, and nerfing the max health gain from the current health of the victim, to 100 in order to avoid the situation of the spy being at low health and gaining 3 times their normal health by stabing a distracted heavy. If that nerf is too harsh, the cap only will be active if the spy isn't at full heath. If the spy is at full heath it will still heal the same amount of heath the victim has, so we avoid situations of a spy just healing from 20 heath to instant 210.

I think about how unnecessary the cloak drain on the YER is all the time. I feel like Valve imagined that rewarding backstabs with disguises would be more OP than it actually is and made it so you'd have to rely on them when using the YER even though it really feels like it's just an alternate method of disguising and having to have a full cloak meter to get one the old fashioned way would be a perfectly reasonable sacrifice
